Oklahoma State University Stillwater

American public land grant research university at Stillwater in Oklahoma, founded in 1890 as Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College and the flagship of the Oklahoma State University system. Teaches chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology, microbiology, nutritional sciences and veterinary medicine at its College of Veterinary Medicine, and carries out research in medicinal chemistry, natural products, veterinary pharmacology and food safety, with the separate OSU Center for Health Sciences at Tulsa running osteopathic medicine and biomedical sciences.
