Pacific Northwest National Laboratory

American national laboratory of the Department of Energy at Richland in Washington state, founded in 1965 out of the Hanford laboratories and operated by Battelle. Works on chemistry and materials, earth and environmental science, energy and national security, with strengths in analytical and mass spectrometry, systems biology and biological sciences, and has long carried out research in toxicology, dosimetry and pharmacokinetic and computational modelling of chemical exposure, running its own analytical and biological laboratories and user facilities.
