Polytechnic Institute of Porto

Portuguese public polytechnic in Porto, created in 1985 and made up of schools across the metropolitan area. Its School of Health teaches pharmacy, clinical analysis and public health, biomedical sciences, radiology, nursing and physiotherapy, and the institute also runs schools of engineering, management, education and hospitality with research centres in health and environment, chemical engineering and biotechnology and its own analytical and teaching laboratories.
