Russian state university in Moscow, founded in 1960 as the Peoples' Friendship University to teach students from developing countries and still with a large international body. Teaches medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and nursing through its medical institute, together with science, engineering, agriculture, economics and languages, runs its own clinical diagnostic centre and teaching hospitals in Moscow, and carries out research in pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry and clinical medicine with its own laboratories.
