Spanish National Research Council

Spanish national research council with its head office in Madrid, founded in 1939 and the largest public research body in the country. Runs more than a hundred institutes across Spain in chemistry, biology and biomedicine, food science, materials, agriculture and the humanities, among them the medicinal chemistry institute in Madrid and food and natural product institutes, manages patents and spin-off companies and trains doctoral students.
