British company of Stiefel Laboratories, the American dermatology specialist founded in 1847 and bought by GlaxoSmithKline in 2009, whose products and staff were absorbed into the group's dermatology business. Sold and supported prescription and over the counter dermatology products in the United Kingdom, covering acne, rosacea, psoriasis, fungal and bacterial skin infections and medicated cleansers, and ran regulatory affairs, medical information and pharmacovigilance for those products in the market.
