Takeda San Diego Inc

American research subsidiary of the Japanese pharmaceutical company Takeda in San Diego, California, created in 2005 when Takeda acquired the structural biology and drug discovery company Syrrx and later trading as Takeda California. Ran structure based drug design, high throughput crystallography, medicinal chemistry and biology for small molecule discovery programmes in metabolic disease, oncology and inflammation before the site was reorganised as Takeda concentrated its research in Boston and Japan.
