Tashkent State Medical University

Uzbek public medical university in Tashkent, descended from the medical faculty of the Central Asian State University founded in 1919 and the Tashkent Medical Institute, reorganised as the Tashkent Medical Academy and then Tashkent State Medical University, the largest medical school in the country. Runs faculties of medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, higher nursing and public health with departments including pharmacology and clinical pharmacology, and works with its multiprofile clinic and Tashkent hospitals on clinical training, clinical trials and research.
