Pakistani public engineering university on Grand Trunk Road in Lahore, Punjab, whose teaching goes back to the Mughalpura Technical College of 1921 and which became a university in 1972, with further campuses at Kala Shah Kaku, Faisalabad, Narowal and Rachna. Teaches through faculties of chemical, mechanical, electrical, civil and computer engineering, with departments of chemical engineering, polymer and process engineering, biomedical engineering and metallurgy and materials, and carries out research in process technology, polymers, biomaterials and medical instrumentation with industry projects.
