Spanish private university with its main campus at Villaviciosa de Odón outside Madrid and further sites in the city centre and Alcobendas, founded in 1989 and given university status in 1995, part of an international education group. Teaches pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, biotechnology and biomedical and other engineering through its faculties of biomedical and health sciences and architecture, engineering and design, and runs its own simulation hospital, dental and physiotherapy clinics and laboratories with applied research and clinical placements in Madrid hospitals.
