Portuguese faculty of engineering of the University of Porto on the Asprela campus, whose origins go back to a school of 1837 and the largest engineering school in the country. Teaches chemical engineering, bioengineering with biomedical engineering and molecular biotechnology run with other faculties, mechanical, electrical and computer, civil, industrial and metallurgical and materials engineering, and carries out research with associated laboratories including LEPABE and INEGI on process and biochemical engineering, biomaterials, medical devices and analytical services for industry.
