Italian public university in Parma in Emilia-Romagna, whose origins go back to the eleventh century and which was refounded in its modern form in the nineteenth. Teaches through its department of food and drug, which brings together pharmacy and food science, and its departments of medicine and surgery, chemistry and veterinary science, awards degrees in pharmacy, pharmaceutical chemistry and technology, food science, medicine and veterinary medicine, and carries out research in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical technology, food science and pharmacology with its own laboratories.
