University of Iceland

Icelandic public university in Reykjavík, founded in 1911 and the oldest and largest university in the country. Teaches pharmaceutical sciences, medicine, nursing, chemistry and biology through its school of health sciences and school of engineering and natural sciences, works with Landspítali, the national university hospital, for clinical teaching and trials, and carries out research in pharmaceutical technology, drug delivery, natural products and genetics.
