Malaysian public research university in Kuala Lumpur, founded in 1949 in Singapore and established in its present form in Kuala Lumpur in 1962, the oldest and highest ranked university in Malaysia. Teaches across medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, science, engineering, computer science, law, business, arts and social sciences, and its Faculty of Pharmacy offers Bachelor of Pharmacy, master and doctoral programmes with research in pharmaceutical technology, pharmacology, clinical pharmacy and drug delivery.
