Office of the Surgeon General of the United States Air Force at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, which leads the Air Force Medical Service and provides medical support to the Air Force and the Space Force. Sets medical policy and clinical standards, oversees military treatment facilities, aerospace medicine, dental and nursing corps and the biomedical sciences corps, directs deployed and en route care and aeromedical evacuation, and runs medical research, public health and pharmacy services across the service's hospitals and clinics.
