Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology

Vietnamese national research academy in Hanoi, founded in 1975 and reporting to the government, with more than thirty member institutes across the country. Runs institutes of natural products chemistry, chemistry, marine biochemistry, biotechnology and materials science among others, works on the medicinal plants and marine organisms of Vietnam, drug candidates and biotechnology, and trains doctoral students through its graduate school.
