The Korean bio‑health sector achieved its strongest August export performance on record, according to a report released by the Korea Bio‑Pharmaceutical Association. Export sales in August rose 22.3% year‑on‑year to $1.41 billion, bringing the total export value for the year to $12.11 billion. The growth is attributed to rising global demand for contract manufacturing and expanding overseas market share of key Korean bio‑pharmaceutical products.
