World’s First Global Cosmetics Regulatory Agency Platform Launched in Seoul

The world’s first cosmetics regulatory agency cooperation platform, the Global Cosmetics Regulatory Agency Council (GCORAS), was officially launched in Seoul. The opening ceremony took place on the 7th at The Plaza Hotel, organized by South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). GCORAS is intended to promote global cosmetics regulatory innovation and strengthen cooperation among regulators. The meeting will continue until the 9th of the month. MFDS Commissioner Oh Yu‑kyung said, “Today we take the historic first step of bringing together cosmetics regulatory heads from multiple countries for the first time.”
