Abdulmuminu Isah is a lecturer, researcher and clinical pharmacist at the University of Nigeria (UNN). He has a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Benin as well as a Master of Pharmacy degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Nigeria. Employed at UNN in 2016 where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students, Dr. Isah has co-authored more than fifty peer-reviewed original research articles in reputable journals as of July 2023, with many others under consideration for publication. He serves as an active reviewer to many SCOPUS, SCIMAGO and Journal Citation Reports-indexed journals including ISPOR’s Value-in-Health Regional Issue, Journal of Pharmacy Practice, FIP’s Pharmacy Education, the UK Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Journal of Pharmaceutical Health Services Research, PLOS ONE, etc. He has also presented over twenty (20) abstracts at both national and international conferences. He was among the two successful pioneer students in the 2021 final examinations of the Infectious Disease speciality of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists. His research interests are Health Economics and Outcome Research, with a bias toward HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care, and Pharmacy Education. He is also a supply chain expert and has acquired the internationally-recognized Certified Supply Chain Analyst qualification from the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA). He is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, the Nigeria Association of Pharmacists in Academia, the Clinical Pharmacists Association of Nigeria, and the International AIDS Society.
