I am an Advanced Prescribing Pharmacist in Short Stay and Acute Medicine at Royal Derby Hospital and an NIHR Doctoral Clinical Academic Fellow at the School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham. I am aspiring towards a clinical academic career working and working towards consultant pharmacist credentialing in Acute Medicine. My research interests include effective pharmacist prescribing and interprofessional simulation-based education. My PhD title is Realist Synthesis and Evaluation of Pharmacist Prescribing Practices in Hospital to Inform Education and Policy. I am a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Prescribing Competency Hub on developing a global prescribing framework. I am passionate about bridging clinical practice and academic research to develop capability, and support the evolving role of pharmacists in healthcare systems.
