Highly motivated and self-directed individual with over 14 years of academic and research; and industrial experience in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. Extremely analytical in all research and experiments in order to be as efficient as possible. Proven track record of working effectively in a team in highly stressful and demanding environments. Exceptional communicator with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively to complete tasks according to timeline. Dr. Mohanraj Rathinavelu received his Degree in Bachelor of Pharmacy (2006) and his Doctor of Pharmacy - Post Baccalaureate (2011) in Pharmacy practice from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. He joined the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (RIPER) where he teaches courses dealing with professional practice and patient care as Associate Professor and In-charge, Department of Pharmacy practice since 2011. He worked in various grades as an Executive (Manufacturing Division), Baxter India Pvt. Ltd, Alathur, Tamil Nadu, India for two years (2006-2008). Dr. Mohanraj is a well-known academician, resource person, and researcher in the field of pharmacy practice with nearly 51 research papers in both national and international journals and 42 presentations as Resource Person/Speaker. He has convened nearly 7 international conferences and 14 national conferences, and AICTE sponsored Faculty Development Program (FDP), Short Term Training Program (STTP), and AICTE Grants for Organizing Conference (GoC); and presented 19 research papers has oral and poster in various national and international conferences. His research interests are Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacosurveillance in Psychiatry and Neurology, Geriatric and Pediatric pharmacotherapy, Evidence based -medicine and practices and Anti-microbial resistance. Dr. Mohanraj Rathinavelu was bestowed with Best Teacher Award 2021 and Best Researcher Award 2019 by RIPER Autonomous. He is the Deputy - Coordinator of RIPER Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Center (AMC), Member IEC of RDT Hospital Bathalapalli, and Member: IRB/RRC, BoS, Academic Council of RIPER Autonomous. Dr. Mohanraj Rathinavelu works with both National and International publication groups contributing his services as Editor-in-chief, Editor, Advisory board and Editorial board member, in the core area of clinical pharmacy and practice, health and allied sciences for 15 journals. Dr. Mohanraj Rathinavelu is Executive member Hospital Pharmacy Division (IPA), and Hon. Gen Secretary IPA Anantapur Local Branch. He is a member sub-committee IPA - FIP (CPS and AcPS) - India Vaccination Project for Curriculum Development and Training. He is a Life Member of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA); Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI); Indian Hospital Pharmacy Association (IHPA) and Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA). He is a member of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR); and American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). Dr. Mohanraj Rathinavelu is the Elect President ISPOR Indian Andhra Pradesh Chapter, and Faculty Advisor ISPOR RIPER Student Chapter. He is a Member of the following groups ASEAN Affairs Group, Asia Consortia New Professionals Group, Asia Consortium Education Committee: Distance Learning and Onsite Training, Asia Consortium HTA Agencies (HTA), Health Care Policymakers and Payers Committee, Faculty Advisor Council Leadership, Global Networks Community, ISPOR Asia-Pacific Conference Program Committee, and Publication Committee: Good Outcomes Research Practices& Publications, Mentor ISPOR Asia Consortium Group, and Member Research Abstract Committee – Scrutiny Panel of ISPOR since 2014. Dr Mohanraj Rathinavelu is an Editor of ISPOR RIPER PDIC Bulletin and the Associate Editor of i Care Bulletin a quarterly publishing official e-news bulletin of SEARPharm Forum – The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Forum of National Pharmaceutical Organizations in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for South East Asia.
