Dr Sk Jahir Abbas is an Chemist (BSc, MSc) and Physicists (PhD), his works at the intersection of chemistry, physics, and biomedical sciences in the fields of _ Catalysis | Energy Chemistry | Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable Materials _ Chemical Synthesis (organic and inorganic molecules) | Crystal Structure | Nanoscience _ Cancer Biology | Lipid-Based Drug Delivery The research involved to design Lipid/RNA/Organic-inorganic biomaterials as a nanocarriers, aim to develop advance drug delivery systems to evaluate therapeutical effect and underlying mechanism of action. Also research directed cancer biology, cancer microenvironments and development of early detection tool and molecular treatment. His research focused on detection of infectious virus, and development of mRNA vaccine for infectious disease and cancer. His researches connected multistep organic synthesis to develop new drug molecules and metal ligand biocomplex that can translate the laboratory to the clinic. Also focused functional polymer materials chemistry and physics: heterogeneous catalysis, photochemistry and environmental impact. Thus, his academic training spans chemistry and physics giving him a multidisciplinary foundation suited for work at the interface of physical sciences, chemistry, biomedical engineering, and nanotechnology. He received B.Sc. in Chemistry Honors from _ Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur, University of Calcutta (West Bengal, India, 2006–2009), M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from _ Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara, West Bengal State University (West Bengal, India, 2009–2011), Ph.D. in Physics from the _ Department of Physics, National Dong Hwa University (Hualien, Taiwan, Feb 2013–Jan 2018) under guidance of professor Shyue-Chu Ke. He has completed extensive postdoctoral training across world-renowned institutions, spanning Taiwan and China, under the mentorship of Prof. Shyue-Chu Ke, Prof. Weihong Tan, Prof. Zeyu Xiao, Prof. Juan Li, Prof. Yingbin Liu, Prof. Wen-Lung Ma, and Prof. Yao-Ching Hung.
