Mr. Soumyadip Ghosh is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences, West Bengal, India. He holds a B. Pharm from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and an M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), and is presently pursuing his Ph.D. from Birla Institute of Technology-Mesra. He brings 4 years of teaching experience and prior industrial exposure, having worked as a Research Associate at Group Pharmaceutical Ltd in Bangalore. Mr. Ghosh's primary research interests lie in Nanoparticulate Drug Delivery Systems (DDS), Targeted Systems, Polymer Science, and areas related to Biomedical Engineering, specifically concerning the design of Grafted Biopolymer Hydrogels and Injectable Scaffolds for tissue regeneration and targeted therapy. Mr. Ghosh has authored over 20 research and review papers in various national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has published two books (Practical Handbook of Physical Pharmaceutics II and one other) and contributed to more than four book chapters. Notably, he holds two Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)/patents: one granted patent for Satranidazole-loaded nanoparticles and one published patent application for Nadifloxacin-loaded Solid Lipid Nanoparticles.
