I am a researcher specialising in sustainable and resilient aquaculture, with a particular focus on alternative/novel proteins, functional feedstuffs, aquaculture circularity models and life cycle assessments (LCAs) in fish production systems. I have researched the impact of pollutants such as microplastics, pharmaceuticals, and heavy metals on farmed aquatic species. Presently, my research emphasises the development of circular aquafeed models, regenerative aquaculture practices, evaluation of seafood supply chains and impact measurement via LCA analysis to advance sustainability and resilience in the sector
