Founded in 2014 in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, Suzhou Biosynthetica manufactures nucleoside and nucleotide building blocks for mRNA and oligonucleotide therapeutics, including modified nucleosides such as N1-methylpseudouridine, pseudouridine, 2'-fluoro-2'-deoxyadenosine, and 2'-deoxy-2'-fluoroguanosine, alongside beta-nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN precursor chemistry), cytidine, uridine, and L-histidine. Built on a green, low-carbon biomanufacturing process the company describes as converting CO2 to sugar and then to product, Biosynthetica has received multiple Jiangsu provincial and Zhangjiagang municipal high-tech and talent recognitions, filed 21 patents (4 granted), and offers CRO services to customers across North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
