The 200 Series GC packs the functionality of a much larger instrument into a compact, lightweight footprint well suited to education, quality control, and remote field use. This single-channel gas chromatograph includes a temperature-programmable oven for standard capillary columns, electronic gas control, a split/splitless injector, and a choice of detectors, achieving its small size (41 x 34 x 16 cm, 7.5 kg) through a smaller column oven with reduced dead volume and a 300 degrees C temperature ceiling that allows for lighter insulation and smaller heaters.
