This SIP Passive/Drain device ensures reliable Steam-In-Place sterilisation of the product-contact and sealing surfaces on a ChargePoint AseptiSafe Active valve. Locking into the Active unit like a standard Passive, it allows the valve to be opened within a sealed environment, sealed by an outer O-ring, with a hygienic tri-clamp ferrule for simple steam-hose connection. Installed in the inverted/discharging orientation, its funnel-shaped drain connections let condensate drain away during the steam cycle or drying phase.
