Professor & Dean

Professor Azuka Oparah is Professor of Clinical Pharmacy & Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Benin, Nigeria. He obtained a BPharm degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also holds MPharm, MBA, MPH & PhD from the University of Benin. He is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (FPSN); Fellow of the Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy (FNAPharm) & Fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (FPCPharm). Professor Oparah’s research is focused on pharmaceutical care and professional advancement. He has mentored several postgraduate students including ten PhD candidates. Professor Oparah has been both Secretary General and Chairman Joint Faculty Board of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists and currently the Chief Examiner at the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP).
