Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Health Sciences in the Western Amazon (Master’s). Previously served as Coordinator of the Pharmacy undergraduate program at Centro Universitário Meta (UNIMETA). Lecturer at undergraduate and graduate levels at UNIMETA and Faculdade São Paulo – RO. Completed postdoctoral training in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (2016–2017) and in the Department of Physiology at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (USP) (2014–2016). Holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (2014) and an MSc from the same institution (2011). Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the Ribeirão Preto School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, USP (2009). Has experience in Physiology, Pharmacology, and Biochemistry, with emphasis on Protein Biochemistry, and works primarily on the following topics: cardiovascular physiology, cardiovascular pharmacology, acute myocardial infarction, arterial hypertension, extracellular matrix metalloproteinases, cardiovascular aging, inflammation, nitric oxide, and endothelial cells.
