Dr. Virupanagouda P. Patil is currently serving as Professor and Head in the Department of Pharmacology at BLDEA’s SSM College of Pharmacy and Research Centre, Vijayapur, Karnataka, India. He has established himself as a dedicated academician and researcher with significant contributions to the field of pharmacology. He has been the recipient of several research grants from reputed funding agencies, including the Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST), Government of Karnataka, AICTE, New Delhi, and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka. Dr. Virupanagouda P. Patil has successfully guided 32 postgraduate students, contributing to the development of future researchers and academicians. He has published 31 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented 35 abstracts at various national and international conferences and symposia. In addition to his academic and research roles, he has served and continues to serve as an Editor-In-Chief, Advisory Board Member, Associate Editor, Editorial Board Member, and Reviewer for several reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals. In addition, he has delivered numerous guest lectures as a resource person, sharing his expertise with academic and professional communities.
