Research and regulatory activities in the field of toxicology, mechanisms of toxicity, metabolism and human risk assessment of natural and man-made environmental pollutants (pesticides, cyanotoxins, heavy metals) in different matrix (food, cosmetics, environmental matrices). Appointed member (toxicology section) of the Advisory Committee for plant protection products by the Italian Ministry of Health. Appointed GLP inspector (PK/TK and ADME section). Coordinator HIA (Health Impact Assessment ) group and expert for the toxicology section of ISS (Italian National Institute of Health)
