Medicinal and organic chemist with a PhD in Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry (UFRJ). Currently a postdoctoral researcher at UFMG working on synthetic vaccines for substance use disorders. Research interests include design and synthesis of small-molecule bioactive compounds, kinase and epigenetic inhibitors (ROCK and HDAC), SAR studies, multitarget drug design, and early drug discovery for neurodegenerative, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases.
