Junior Principal Investigator/Group Leader

Dr. Xia is currently an associate professor (M.S. student Advisor) and junior principal investigator at IMM, CAMS & PUMC（中国医学科学院/北京协和医学院药物研究所）. He graduated with a Ph.D. degree in medicinal chemistry from Peking University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2015 (Advisor: Prof. Liangren Zhang/张亮仁). During the period between 2012 and 2014, he was a visiting Ph.D. student in the lab of AI for drug discovery in DC Center for AIDS Research, USA (Advisor: Prof. Xiang. S. Wang). His research interest is computer-aided drug design (CADD) and artificial intelligence for drug discovery (AIDD), including development of novel computational methods for CADD/AIDD and drug discovery with classical/new CADD/AIDD approaches.
