KostiantynP. Melnykov received his M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine, in 2013. He earned his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Institute of High Technologies, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, in 2020 under the supervision of Professor Serhii Riabukhin. In 2025, he received the Doctor of Sciences (Dr.Sc.) degree in Organic Chemistry from the Department of Organic Chemistry, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where he conducted his doctoral research under the supervision of Professor Oleksandr Grygorenko.
Dr. Melnykov is a Team Leader and Head of Laboratory at Enamine Ltd., where he leads research projects in synthetic and medicinal chemistry. He is the Product Owner of the Enamine Basicity-Tuning Kits, Late-Stage Functionalization Kits, and the Library of Fluorinated Fragments for FAXS Screening. His work focuses on the design and synthesis of fluorinated building blocks and fragment libraries, the development of innovative tools for fragment-based drug discovery, and the optimization of physicochemical properties of biologically active molecules.
His research interests include synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, fluorine chemistry, fragment-based drug discovery, late-stage functionalization, physicochemical property optimization, and the application of 19F NMR spectroscopy in pharmaceutical research.
