Associate Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil) with emphasis in the field of Pharmaceutica Sciences, ​​Pharmaceutical Development, Pharmaceutical Technology and Drug Delivery Systems. I have extensive experience in the development of micro/nanoparticulate systems to oral, topical, pulmonary and ophthalmic drug delivery, hydrogels drug delivery systems, and synthesis of stimulus-responsive polymers. I have worked, also, with Risk-based approach to drug development, pre-formulation, generic and innovative drug development, solid-state characterization, polymorphism, analytical method development and validation, skin and corneal drug permeation, and pharmaceutical processes development to reach bioequivalence of generic drug medicines.
