Berufliche Zusammenfassung

Lydia Ogrodzinski is a pharmacologist and translational scientist specialising in molecular pharmacology, cellular assay development, live-cell imaging, and formulation technologies. She completed a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and Vascular Disease at the University of Nottingham, where her research focused on real-time analysis of cytokine-induced endothelial activation, including the development of novel live-cell assays and CRISPR-Cas9 engineered cellular models to investigate inflammatory signalling pathways and vascular disease targets. Her research experience spans academia, drug discovery, and translational biotechnology, including postdoctoral work in preclinical pharmacology and high-throughput assay development for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis drug discovery programs. She has extensive expertise in cellular pharmacology techniques including live-cell imaging, high-content screening, CRISPR-based assay systems, biomarker analysis, receptor pharmacology, and phenotypic assay development. Lydia currently works within the Gene Editing & Screening Core at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), supporting functional genomics, high-content imaging, pooled CRISPR screening, and translational assay development across a broad range of cancer and therapeutic research projects. In addition to her academic research experience, Lydia has worked within the biotechnology sector on formulation development, medical device development, and translational product optimization. Her work has included supporting the development of novel therapeutic and biomaterial-based technologies, with a focus on bridging early-stage scientific innovation with practical clinical and commercial applications. Her interests lie at the interface of pharmacology, functional genomics, advanced cellular models, imaging technologies, and translational product development, with a strong focus on bridging fundamental biological discovery with clinically and commercially relevant applications.
