Associate medical director

I am a MD, PhD with broad experience in pharmaceutical drug development within common and orphan diseases. I have experience from multiple different medical roles and have been involved in the development of 8 drugs from early projects to late stage, among them the blockbuster, Ozempic. I am currently medical lead for ZP7570 in early clinical development for short bowel syndrome and I am also part of the team to develop Glepaglutide for short bowel syndrome, which is in phase 3. I have completed the Novo Nordisk talent development programme for MDs (PMP). I have held various medical roles on phase 1 trials (SAD,MAD, clinical pharmacology trials including renal and hepatic impairment), phase 2 trials, phase 3 trials (pivotal and 3b) and phase 4 trials (Pragmatic trials, NIT). I have experience in: Global Medical Affairs; KOL engagements, global and regional advisory boards, market access, interpretation and communication of clinical trials, medical education and guidance, publications plans and medical strategy. Clinical Development; trial design, monitoring, TPP, recruitment, GCP, analysis and reporting of clinical trials. Drug Safety; safety surveillance, PSUR, health authority requests, signal detection, RMP.
