I am an immunology and biomedical science researcher with research interests in virus–host interactions, EBV-associated malignancies, cancer immunology, endoplasmic reticulum stress, inflammatory signaling, liver fibrosis, and translational disease biology. My research focuses on understanding how molecular stress pathways and immune-regulatory mechanisms contribute to disease development and progression. I am particularly interested in Epstein–Barr virus biology, including EBV reactivation, latency–lytic switching, and the role of ER stress-related pathways in EBV-associated cancers such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma. My broader academic interests include viral oncology, inflammation-driven disease mechanisms, therapeutic target discovery, vaccine development, reproductive immunology, and liver disease research. I aim to develop research that connects molecular mechanisms with clinically relevant questions in infection, cancer, and immune-mediated disease.
