Community Pharmacy Training

I am a trained medical bioscientist and qualified pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Sargodha, Pakistan, and an MSc in Medical Bioscience from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK. My research interests lie in translational medicine, molecular and vascular biology, and epigenetic regulation in disease. I conducted MSc research on the role of Connexin 43 in the proliferation of rat pulmonary artery fibroblasts in response to 5-HT and Endothelin-1. Professionally, I have worked in diverse healthcare settings in both Pakistan and the UK. I am currently serving as a Pharmacist at Kashmir Pharmacy, Islamabad. Previously, I contributed to public health awareness as a Medical Writing Intern at Klarity HealthTech UK (2022–2024), with six published articles. I’ve also worked in community and hospital pharmacies including Fazal Din Pharmacy, Servaid, and Aga Khan University Hospital, gaining hands-on experience in patient care, ADR reporting, inventory control, and clinical pharmacy. My combined expertise in pharmacy, research, and science communication drives my ongoing interest in advancing patient-centred healthcare and interdisciplinary research.
