Biography: Dr. Nethaji Ramalingam, currently working as a Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutics, Devaki Amma Memorial College of Pharmacy, Malappuram, Kerala, India. His research focuses on developing nano-based drug delivery systems, specifically using antimicrobial and antiviral drugs. With over 28 years of teaching and research experience, he has guided 34 postgraduate research projects and one Ph.D. thesis. He has authored more than 62 peer-reviewed international publications and five national-level publications. He has authored and published several book chapters and pharmaceutical textbooks. He has presented research findings at various international and national conferences, earning best paper presentation honors. He received a National Level Seminar Grant from the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment. He has visited and presented research papers at international conferences organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, and at an international conference and exhibition organized by PROTEMP, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has served as a resource person at various scientific conferences and has chaired conference sessions. He has received numerous awards from prestigious organizations, including the Outstanding Researcher in Pharmaceutics, Best Academician, Distinguished Professor, Best Educationist, and Appreciation awards.
He holds SAS Eminent Fellow Membership in the Executive Committee of Scholars Academic and Scientific Society, recognizing his outstanding contributions to education and research. He serves as an Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editor, Editorial Board Member, and Advisory Board Member for reputed international pharmaceutical journals. He is a Life Member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and a member of the Academic Advisory Committee (AAC), Students Support and Guidance Programme (SSGP), Institutional Review Board (IRB), and Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC). He also serves as the Chairperson in the Programme Committee (M. Pharmacy). He has served as Coordinator of the Academic Council Research (ACC) and a member of the Women's Grievance Redressal Cell (WGRC). He has been appointed as an Inspector for granting provisional affiliation to the pharmacy colleges. He has previously served as a member of the Board of Studies and is currently serving as a Ph.D. supervisor at the Kerala University of Health Sciences in Thrissur, Kerala, India.
