Renata Tupinambá Branquinho is Pharmacist with the major in Industrial Pharmacy at the University Center Newton Paiva (2004). She has a Master´s degree (2010) and PhD (2014), both in Biological Sciences, Nucleus of Research in Biological Sciences Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP), Part of its doctorate was carried out at the Institute National de la Santé et la Recherche Médicale (INSERM 1046, Montpellier- France) through the Science Without Border Program CAPES/COFECUB (2013) in the area of Pharmacology with emphasis in in vitro and in vivo cardiotoxicity. She did a postdoctoral program (2014) at Biological Sciences, NUPEB, UFOP. She got a position as researcher at the Pharmacy Department and Graduation Program of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CIPHARMA) in 2015, both at the Pharmacy School, (UFOP), carrying out research in the Cell Culture Laboratory and at the Center for Animal Studies. She is member of the Ethics Committee on the Use of Animals, UFOP. She has expertise in Pharmacy with emphasis on Analytical and Bioanalytical Pharmaceutical Validation, Development of Pharmaceutical Products, Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology, Pharmacokinetics, Pre-Clinical Studies, Experimental Chemotherapy of Chagas disease, Toxicity and cardiotoxicity of of synthetic and natural substances.
