Assistant Professor

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology with over five years of teaching and research experience. I hold an M.Pharm in Pharmacology, M.Sc. in Psychology and am pursuing a Ph.D in Neuro research. My research interests span neuropharmacology, psychopharmacology, behavioral neuroscience, molecular modelling and the intersection of pharmacology and mental health, including the mechanisms of drug action on the central nervous system and the development of novel therapeutics for psychiatric disorders. I am passionate about integrating psychological principles into pharmacological research, promoting evidence-based teaching, and mentoring students in experimental design and critical thinking. I actively collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and aim to contribute to innovative approaches in drug discovery and mental health care.
