Dr. Varun Garg is currently working as RMA at Novo Nordisk. He has done his PhD in Pharmaceutical sciences in DST funded project from Lovely Professional University. He has published 29 papers, 2 book chapters and edited 3 books in International journals. He has presented more than 14 oral and poster presentations in International and National conferences. He has vast experience of working in medical affairs at Zydus and Biocon. He has extensively explored areas like gastroentrology, hepatology, diabetology and cardiology in medico marketing. He has experience of preparing manuscripts, abstracts, presentations. He is also expertise in training and mentoring of field employees on medical and scientific aspects. He has experience of facilitatation and conduct of customized promotional/educational interactions (CMEs, RTMs, launch meetings) with Health Care Professionals (HCPs). He has engaged KOLs via scientific support in form of publication, power point presentations, patient education material during his tenure in Biocon.He has also worked as a Junior Research Fellow in DST funded project (Project No. SB/YS/LS-102/2013)” at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India. He has research experience in area of novel drug delivery system, SNEDDS, Emulsions, Nanoparticles, Vesicular drug delivery, QBD. He has developed himself with unique profile involving an interplay of research, technical, medical and marketing skills. Apart from his academic activities, He is actively involved in presenting his research work at different national and international scientific forums. Deeply interested in medical affairs, medical writing, pharmacovigilance, he has a keen desire to use his skills in this area for the organisation he will work and for the society.
