Dr. Wilson Chimaobi Okafor, PhD Lecturer I of Biomedical Engineering, Federal University of Technology Owerri Dr. Wilson Chimaobi is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Federal UniversityofTechnology Owerri, where he teaches and carries out researches. His research focuses on Tissue engineering, Biomedical sciences, Toxicology, Rehabilitation medicine and Clinical engineering, with an emphasis on low energy and cost-effective solutions for developed and developing regions. He earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, in 2024, while he was working as an Assistant Lecturer in the same institution. Dr. Wilson's work has been published in reputable science and medical journals. He teaches courses on Basic Medical Sciences, Sports Medicine, Clinical Engineering, Human Biomechanics and Biomedical Design, and supervises undergraduates and Postgraduate students. His goal is to translate class room knowledge to laboratory innovations, and then into systems for applications that improve living and operations.
