Director

Dr. Xu Li is the Director of Data Center in Tasly GeneNet Co.,Ltd, one of the largest traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) companies in China. He was responsible for network pharmacology product development and Bioinfor-pipeline construction at Tasly Ltd. During his early years with BGI, he led biomarker and molecular diagnostics efforts at Tumor Oncology Research Unit. He managed a conducting companion diagnostic assays and bioinformatics research to support BGI’s companion diagnostics. He also worked with the academic and industry partners to generate large scale cancer genomics data. As one of the senior scientists, he made significant contributions to the DNA microarray technology development and the measurement of large genome damage and tumor heterogeneity. He also practiced as obstetrician/gynecologist and genetic consultant. He published 10+ articles in the peer-reviewed journals including Genomics, Mol Biosys, PLoS, and chapters of two books. He is also an advocate of genomics and health data sharing.
