PhD Biologist in Virology by training at the Free University of Bruxelles in Belgium, I completed a post-doctoral internship in Onco-immunology in Marseille with the support of an European Community Fellowship and was then recruited as researcher by INSERM in 1998, Research Associate at the Institut Paoli Calmettes - IPC (2008) and INSERM Research Director (2008). As researcher at the Cancer Research Centre of Marseille (CRCM), an INSERM/CNRS/Aix Marseille University & IPC Comprehensive Cancer Research Center, my main objectives are to explore novel reservoirs of therapeutic targets in oncology and to develop new integrated approaches in personalized medicine. I am currently co-head of the CRCM Integrated Structural and Chemical Biology (ISCB) Team, head of the TrGET Preclinical Platform, coordinator of the 18 CRCM CoreTech technological resources, Deputy Director for the CRCM and Scientific Affair Deputy to the Research Direction at the IPC. My overall objectives are to bridge researchers and clinicians into a translational continuum and to strengthen partnership opportunities with Pharmaceutical companies.
