B. Braun Medical Industries

Malaysian manufacturing arm of the German medical technology group B. Braun, at Bayan Lepas in Penang, opened in 1972 and the group's largest production site outside Germany. Makes infusion and injection solutions, intravenous administration sets and catheters, dialysis and infusion therapy products, surgical instruments and single use medical devices for export worldwide, and runs its own research and development, sterilisation and quality control facilities together with a training centre.
