Bharadidhasan University

Indian state university at Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, founded in 1982 and named after the poet Bharathidasan, which examines colleges across the central districts. Runs departments of pharmacy adjacent disciplines including biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology, chemistry and environmental science, teaches postgraduate and doctoral programmes, and carries out research on medicinal plants, natural products and biotechnology.
