Pioneered enzyme replacement therapy for lysosomal storage diseases with medicines for Gaucher, Fabry and Pompe disease and mucopolysaccharidosis, and also develops and manufactures medicines in multiple sclerosis, oncology, transplantation and rare blood disorders, operating biologics manufacturing plants in Massachusetts, Ireland and Belgium.
