Brazilian crop protection company at Sorocaba in São Paulo state, founded in 1965 with Japanese capital and now part of the Kumiai and Mitsui group of shareholders, one of the country's larger agrochemical manufacturers. Makes and sells fungicides, insecticides, herbicides and adjuvants for Brazilian agriculture from its own formulation and synthesis plants, and runs research and development, field trials and regulatory science including residue and toxicology studies for product registration.
